How to Display Troubleshooting Screen for Hitachi ZX890-7 Excavator

This instruciton show you steps on how to display troubleshooting screen for Hitachi ZX890-7 excavator.

 

Preparations:

2021 Hitachi MPDr Diagnostic Software

Hitachi MPDR Dr.ZX Diagnositc Cable

Steps:
1. Turn select/set switch (3) and select Troubleshooting (4) from Service Menu.

2.When pushing select/set switch (3), the Troubleshooting screen appears.

3. Turn select/set switch (3) and select the controller.

Main (MC) (5) is selected as an example here.

4. When pushing select/set switch (3), the self-diagnostic result of selected controller (fault code) is displayed. The fault
codes that are displayed at this time contain not only the codes that are currently occurring, but also fault codes
which occurred in the past.

5. Turn select/set switch (3) and select CLEAR (6), then push select/set switch (3).

6. The past fault codes are deleted and only the current fault codes which have been generated newly can be displayed.

7. When pushing back switch (1), the previous screen appears.

8. When pushing home switch (2), the basic screen appears.
